I have to chuckle a bit when I see people on this board make outlandish predictions like, "Toyota will discontinue the FJC after 2008" or "The FJC will be a collector's item once they stop making them in 2009."
When you sell 66,000 units in the first year that's a pretty sure sign that there is solid demand for the car and it's a winner. Nissan X-terra sold 50,000 units in their first year (1999) and they're still pumping those trucks out 8 years later.
Feasible, but highly improbable. The FJ is a great vehicle, but is not mainstream enough to reach those numbers IMHO in 4 years. Of course, I've been wrong before and time will tell.
