Seatbelt

It seems like whenever the FJ revs faster than 4000 rpm, the seatbelt tightens.

Is it just me? Am I hallucinating?

I've noticed that when you shut the motor off the seatbelt will loosen.

It does have pretensioners, but I thought they didn't fuction untill it senses a collision.

Yeah, me thinks so too, just a thought. Can't say I'[ve noticed any difference in my FJ belts from my 03 4Runner though.
