Re: japans letters

I could be wrong, but I don't think Japan uses their characters like we use the english alphabet. I think it is more of a certain sound equaling one japanese charcter.

Re: japans letters

Every consonent in Japanese is followed by a vowel

A (ah)
I (eee)
U (oo)
E (ay)
O (oh)

Ka, ki, ku, ke, ko

Pa Pi Pu Pe po

The exceptions are N (sometimes M. same letter) and Tsu.

So there is no ef Jay

There could be a "efa Je" (e fa je)

E fa je Ka ru se ru

Re: japans letters

There are no equivalent letters for FJC.

It'd be composed of several katakana characters which represent the phonetic for each letter.

F = エフ
J = ジェイ
C = シー

Note that there's no C. It'd be pronounced more like "Shee".

We'll be going in a couple of months and then we get to see how the Japanese use the English language, which can be very amusing......
