This morning my dealer called with good news and bad news. The good news is that my FJC arrived last night and is sitting in their holding lot. He asked if I wanted to come see it (silly question). Bad news is they need to prep it, swap the Dunlop GrandTreks out with the BFG's I dropped off yesterday and swap the running boards with rock rails. So, I don't get to take it home until tomorrow around 10am. I did get to drive it from the dealers holding lot back to the dealership (about 1/2 mile). The TRD sounds killer! Back at the dealership I fully inspected my new FJC, snapped a few photos then headed home.
Here are the specifications for my new FJC:
Silver, A/T, CQ, GY, RB, UR, 37, Z2, WL, V5, P7, C7
- RB's are being swapped with Rock Rails
- Dunlop tires are being swapped with BFG A/T KO's
My dealer received 6 FJC's last night 3 Silver, 1 Black, 1 Blue and 1 Yellow. 3 of the 6 were already sold and the others had people looking at them. I'm sure they will be gone a few days.
Driver side view: Note that it is still shrink wrapped.
Front: Note the little black XM antenna above the middle of the windsheild. Pretty small and non-obtrusive.
Driver side with doors open. Still wrapped in plastic.
Another front view:
The rear escape hatch: note the TRD cat-back tail pipe venting out to the passengers side.
This is a beautiful picture. Only 4 miles on my FJC:
