VCS TRAC Fault
I had a traction control fault while in the back county of Canyonlands Utah. Once back to civilization I managed to clear the fault by disconnection the battery but here is what happened.
Prior to starting over Elephant hill all was fine. I had the FJ in 4L or 4H for the day. The next morning we took a trip out to the Confluence overlook and some sections of the drive did not require 4L or 4H so I shifted back to normal AWD. When I did this the VCS TRAC, VCS OFF and skid lights came on indicating a fault. While in 4L A-TRAC still worked great. Every time I went back to 4AWD same thing. (BTW there are some GREAT sandy single lane jeep road in the back county of Canyonlands.
Any ideas?
