I did a trail membership for Trails.com. They list hiking, biking and some 4x4 trails. However, they force you to pay for a trial and then refund if you decide you don't like in 2 weeks. Well, I didn't like it and I didn't remember to cancel till the 15th day So I got sucked into a years subscription that I never ever looked at again. It had potential but I never wanted to risk signing up again to see if they improved the sight.
Well if it goes the way it did with me it took a couple of weeks of persistant nagging to get taken off. That sight was worthless I agree. I signed up to find local areas for our ATV's and all they showed was a red balloon on a map with no real info.

I sent an e-mail. Will make one call on Monday. If not fixed by Tue., I'll just call my credit card's fraud dept. and poof. I don't feel bad doing this either because it is fraud based on how he words the site as far as I'm concerned. You would be amazed how much a cc company will back you in cases of a dispute. Only needed to do it a few times, but it has always worked.
I've used trails.com for the last year and loved it. Great resource for Washington and it includes maps for offroad driving, hiking, snowshoeing, etc...

Glad you found it helpful. Yes, it has maps/locations there, but nothing more than can be found elsewhere. They talk about photos, trail descriptions, etc. However, you can google Oregon OHV and get a web site with ------ the exact same information ------- the reason I would pay for it is that it should be better than what I get for free from the state park and rec, which is inadequate.
Not surprising, the guy who runs it reminded me that the user agreement states no refunds. Called the fraud dept. of my cc and got it taken care of.
