2007 assc.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to know if any of you had the Dual Exhasut that is an option this year, I also wanted to see what the running boards look like, and can you tell me if I am better off getting aftermarket ones or not. What types of lifts you all use on your Fj. Be sure to post pics of your rides in here. I want a 4x2 with a 3inch lift with the black steelies for now anyone on here got something like that?

Re: 2007 assc.

I think most will tell you to search....but anyways....

Running boards look like they always do....Absolute soccermom CRAP. Not helpful, interesting, and sure as hell not cool. Need I say more? Rock rails, on the other hand, look good. There are many different styles from many different sources. Search.

I don't think dual exhaust is an option on any 2007 model FJ. I've been looking.

2wd vehicles with lifts are near pointless. If you want to lift it, why not just get a 4x4? The mileage and performance will be exactly the same. The FJ will never be a prerunner.

Good Luck!

Re: 2007 assc.

Actually, that Donahoe race truck won its class; the fj can be a prerunner, technically. Either way, spring for the 4x4, if at least for the resale value.

Why would you lift a 4x2?

Mainly ground clearence and larger tires. Many lifted 2WD on this forum. Does that bother you?

Some excellent off road drivers with 4X2's on this forum too. Most people lift for larger tires. Ground clearence is a plus.

Re: 2007 assc.

doesnt bother me, but keep it in mind when u get stuck! if you're gonna get a winch well hey why not 4x2, but it saves me a lot of time to put it in 4 wheel. r u gonna off road? cuz if u r then I think 4x4 is the way to go. bottom line is we are all FJ guys here so..."can't we all jus git along?"
