Very nice! I use an all aluminum carrier made by Sarge Industries that weighs about 40#.

direct from manufacturer AND free shipping. box weighed 100 pounds, so that was a very good deal.

there is an internet special on it right now, too. $20-$30 off...

i've always wanted to take my bike with me, now i can. i don't have a open bed truck, so this will work for me. no reason to pull a trailer, either! i'm going to LA for a friends birthday next week, so this might be an opportunity to try it out over a distance.

check 'em out...

Re: installed mototote...

nice setup... I run this one here addabike and its works great, no tie downs needed and it takes about 1 min to load no joke. Little on the spendy side but worth it IMO.

Re: installed mototote...

I don't know much about the MotoTote, and you may already have this covered..but...be damn sure you secure the back half of the bike (tire or swingarm) to keep it from bouncing off the back.

I know from experience...My KTM 200EXC's back tire bounced off and was dragging on the road. Thank God I noticed in time and luckily my straps held on for the wild ride.

Re: installed mototote...

How well does it handle the weight of the bike on the road? Would you take this on something long distance...say a 10 hour drive?
