March '07: Monthly FJ Cruiser sales up 20% over February

Has the FJ Cruiser become mainstream? Will we start seeing more of them at malls and sorority houses? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Looking at this chart, I bought mine in the 2nd highest selling month.....

Sales are on the rise, more non-wavers on the road.... The honeymoon is over!!!!!!!

I think sales will keep going up, I know at least 2 people at work that plan to buy.

sales are UP because prices are DOWN!!!!! the mystique and newness is over, the lots are full. you can now score one under invoice. i hear toyota's also gonna start offering gr8 lease rates FINALLY on the fj. they wont be as common as 4runners -- ever -- because of issues like visibility etc. but soccer moms and milfs will be all over the place in them. drive through gay areas like west hollywood and you see them CRUISING everywhere. the geys like the coolness factor, just as do hip babes. i have an 07 h3 lux, and will be getting an fj to add to my garage in sept when a lease on an infinity expires. my wife loves the fj looks.

Riddle me this BATMAN...... I got my FJ in Mid April 2006, yet my serial number is over 10,000. According to these numbers less than 9,000 FJ were made by April 2006?????

I love this Rig, but can't deny the fact that I see at least 3 a day going to and from work...and the majority of them are Silver.

The first bunch of the line would be used for Quality Assurance purposes(destructive and non-destructive testing), rides for journalists, for FJ Cruiser Trail Teams.

It is also possible the FJ you bought with your options could have been 10,xxx another one on the lot with options you did want could have been 8,xxx.

Not bad...better than the Hummer line-up combined and good showing against the Wrangler line-up. Didn't see XTerra numbers.

Interesting I bought mine in August and the serial number is in the 1800's. Must have taken them months to switch to a metric instrument panel.
