No Girlfriend Lake swallowed Futoshi. What's that you say? Oh! WINCH!

*** I promise that if one person on here judges me and ruins what was the happiest day of my life I will lose my mind***

WINCH people, WINCH!

There has never been a greater invention in human history!!!!!! N-E-V-E-R!!! Not candy, not fireworks, not basketball, not the wheel, not contraception, not the tank, not tables, not flight attendants, not tree sap, not the Super Bowl, not Tiger Woods, not pianos, not glasses, not picture frames, not keys, not pens, not plasma TVs, not nipple rings, not PlayStation 3 (this is a tough one to say), not Halloween, not Thomas Edison, not the Sea of Tranquility, not the Boy Scouts, not denim, not Perestroika, not shoes, not thongs (another tough, tough one), not cardboard, not the Eiffel Tower, not lightning, not socks, not the audible, not submarines, not the ejection seat, not gold teeth, not ice, not cute bears, crazy bears, not smurfs, not dogs, not dinosaurs, no lifesavers, not catering services, not railroads, not chairs on wheels, not models on magazine covers, not movie theatre arm rests, not 'Hooters,' not hot fudge, not fire alarms, not rhinos, not Elvis, not geometry, not cotton, not beacons, not VHS, and not even dogs are as cool as WINCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i gots me some stuck:
couldn't open the door. took the window exit.

what's that i see coming out of le bumper? salvation maybe?

as per instructions from "nice people who kindly told me what i was doing wrong and who wont do the same this time b/c they dont want to ruin the best day ever," mah hood was open so the thing dont snap and break the windshield or something. But think it was a delayed April Fools joke so you can't see where you're going when digging out of mud:

There can be no comment on the following images. I shall let their glory speak for itself:

i know.

i know.

i feel it too.

All I can say is that I finally got my wish of being stuck in No Girlfriend Lake more than a year after I began tearing it up in Futoshi and more than two years after I began digging it.

Suffice it to say that feeling of being immobile in a pool of mud is akin to having your legs fall asleep. It is extremely alarming at first. Until you realize that it is at this moment that that seemingly idiotic All Pro purchase shall be justified once and for all.

And then the hope begins. Will it pull or wont it? Will the bumper rip off or not?

And friends, being from a humble automotive background, I tell you this: witnessing Futoshi literally being dragged from the ashes by le winch is nothing short of redemption taking place before ones eyes - it is miraculous!

Long Live All Pro!

I can see the PS3, at least until we get some fresh games but THONGS, I mean what can go better between my toes than a cool pair of flip-flops?

Oh, you mean THOSE thongs ...I guess that all depends what the thong is splitting...

Re: No Girlfriend Lake swallowed Futoshi. What's that you say? Oh! WINCH!

Reminds me of a situation years ago w/ our 76 FJ, when our WINCH saved us from a sugar sand pit. Love it, out it the middle of no where, with not another soul to lend a hand and only a WINCH to save Ya!
