Rear Passenger Side Windows

A question for the brainiacs of the group.......would it be possible for a mod that would replace these stationary windows with 'flip outs"?
I'm sure it would be a total glass replacement, but maybe not, dunno. Have any of you had the inside panel off around those windows to see what the framework looks like and would it provide a mounting point for the new mechanism?
A vendor could make a ton for those of us that would like to have the 'flip outs'. Could be there is a valid reason why Toyota didn't install these in the first place.

I will pursue this as soon as I can get my hands on a suicide door from a wreck to experiment on.

Re: Rear Passenger Side Windows

OK, everybody pitch in so we can find/buy a door from a wreck. I'll do all the grunt work.

Re: Rear Passenger Side Windows

I've often wondered why this wasn't an option in the first place and for the life of me, can't see any reason it wouldn't work? I just hope the mod won't cost a fortune if one becomes available.
