Good FJ Book
Got this as a gift yesterday
Amazon.com: Toyota FJ Cruiser: Books: Larry Edsall . It mostly focuses on the design/manufacture of the vehicle, but goes in to the history as well. Very informative. Lots of great picutres and drawings of concepts that didn't quite make it. Too bad, because some of them are too cool.

Re: Good FJ Book
Got it at Border's a month ago. Very interesting how the whole 'rebirth' started.
It's sits beautifully and prominently displayed on my workbench.

Re: Good FJ Book
Yeah great book. Larry was in Vegas last year for the Toyota owners event, I had a chance to meet him and talk with him. He's a very nice guy.

Re: Good FJ Book
One particularly interesting photo shows boards that were created at Toyota with various photos to be used for design inspiration of the interior. Very random collection of items included not one but two handgun photos. They were both modern 1911s if memory serves -- I only looked through it quickly.
Perhaps this is explains why so many FJ owners seem to be gun nutz too.
