Vendor Story.

Not sure where this goes so if in wrong place I'm sure yall will move it.

I decided to buy the Hoes for my FJ after much reading here. I call Donahoe up an ask them where are they in stock at. They tell me to call KLM are Kartek. I call the guy at KLM he says yes there in stock I can get them out today. Great call my friends shop book some time to have him help me install. Now is where it gets Fked up.

Yesterday I'm all excited waiting on FedX,take the afternoon off from work. Just like a kid with a new toy. Fed arrives BOOM rear setup not front. Just a note back order. Now I'm really pissed I ask this guy 3 times are you sure you have them. Lying piece of ****. refund my money an kiss my ass. I'm out of this deal. Don't deal with people that lie.

I call Donahoe they say well sorry about that call Baja Bob at Kartek. Dial the number Great guy to deal with. He goes an gets the front setup in his hands an says I can get them out today. After hearing the story he even knocks off money on the cost which he didn't have to do.

All in all a lesson learned. Just heads up post. and a shout out to Baja Bob at Kartek for the great help..... Im betting they will be here tomm as promised...

Regards
Jerry

Re: Vendor Story.

Raw deal. I agree. If you do business that involves shipping, your word becomes your reputation. If you don't have it, say so. If it doesn't ship, make a phone call. Do the right thing.
Glad the other company is hooking you up.

Re: Vendor Story.

Sorry to hear about the trouble...but there is a silver lining in every cloud.

Glad to hear another vendor is taking care of you. He will have a customer for life and, as you have already done, you will share this info with lots of people.

Not the first time we've heard this story. Glad you got it taken care of.
