Are there new FJ color schemes?

There were rumors back when about an FJ *limited* version that was black/black. Don't know if that was ever reality, but I've seen 3 unusual color schemes here in the SF Bay area: all black, all yellow and, today, black on blue. Riding by the Toyota dealer today, everything I saw was standard white roof.

Re: Are there new FJ color schemes?

By limited, I take it you mean the TRD right?

Others are usually owner or dealer done.

Re: Are there new FJ color schemes? TRD?

I suppose that could be it.
Was that the black on black? Was it produced, or did I see a *custom* paint job?
Having once had a faded yellow Duster that was subsequently painted *bronzy* with a very noticeable increase in cabin temp, I'd opt for a white top any time.

Re: Are there new FJ color schemes?

I've seen a few around here in Atlanta...some black diamond owners PAINTED their tops to look like a TRD...atleast now I know how ugly my TRD would look without a roof rack lol, I think I saw an "all blue" but man if I remember right that thing looked WEIRD

I used to drive around in a yellow Duster. At the time I was completely embarassed, but would kill for that now.

THAT's why I asked. ll I saw at Toyota was the original scheme, not what I've seen on the road. Thanx for your civility in answering (comparatively).
