ok, so it was actually in the 70's here today.... and hot
so i took my afternoon polishing up the FJ and after applying some Black Magic Tire Shine and accidently getting some sprayed on the black plastic trim, i figured what the hell, let's apply it to all of the black trim on the FJ....
looks damn sharp, if i say so myself! makes everything pop and not so gloomy
now let's just see how it holds up... any of you ever do this or apply any type of Armor All product to the trim? I know with AA it tends to fade the plastic over time and you have to constantly apply the stuff.... i'm hoping this holds up well

Not bad, but be careful using that stuff, Armor All or stuff like it can seep down in the pores of plastic and if you don't continue to use it, it can dry out and cause cracking. AA is like the worst stuff to use, Black Magic is better.
If you want any tips on keeping your FJ looking good, PM Three%hero, he knows what to use.
Quick question about black magic -
when a little bit of overspray gets carried by the wind, does it ever get on the body, having to re wash or rebuff the paint?

i've used the stuff on my tires for years and haven't had any problems on past vehicles, but i always wipe it off with a dry towel right away if it gets on the paint or rims. i wouldn't image that it would hurt anything, but i don't want to take that chance... i think the stuff is too 'oily/greasy' to hurt the clearcoat, but then again i'm no expert either

I don't think you'll have to buff the paint at all, but if you want it gone, you can get some qwick detailer spray.

Hmmm, cherry flavored FJ...don't know about that one. But if your hubby goes muddin', it'll be a chocolate covered cherry.
