Need HELP!?!

Alright i recently got my FJ as a graduation present . it's Black cherry with the premium sound system ( i could have done without) doesn't have a roof rack or a skidplate (I've ordered my factory skidplate already should be getting it soon

-should i get the factory roof rack or go for something better?
-the TRD cold air intake or the K/N air filter
- and idk if i should get a lift so soon or just stick with what i have now and buy a little bit bigger tires.

**i'm not looking to go over board with upgrades right now. I'm hopefully i'll have this vehicle for a long time and I just want it to have a few extra things done to it so it's not stock.I want it to be able to handle the mud and dirt and still be able to drive it on LSU campus come this fall.

Thank you for your time .
-peace

Re: Need HELP!?!

call and cancel your factory skid plates!!!! there are so many better aftermarket skidplate manufacturers. the stockers are pretty weak, and are not worth the money..just my 2 cents

Re: Need HELP!?!

That might be a Gobi Stealth in that pic... anyway, that's the one I would like to replace my factory rack with. But it's around $1500 I think .

Re: Need HELP!?!

seriously, I've heard mixed reviews on the stock skid plate. I'm looking up information on other skid plates right now. If you have any links send them to me.

Also thanks for the info on the roof rack. if you ever find out the name of it let me know. I kinda want to buy my roof rack in the next 2 weeks or so.

Re: Need HELP!?!

If you think you have lots of use for a roof rack, get an ARB or Gobi instead of the stock rack. The stock rack is fine, but, the ARB and Gobi seem more useful

x2

I like the looks of the stock rack, but it is limited to sleeping bags, tent, etc, and attaching tools to the outside rails.

Re: Need HELP!?!

CANCEL the stock skid plate. Go with Bud Built or Man-a-Fre. I prefer the buds but everyone has their own preference.

The new All Pro rack is coming out in a couple of weeks, take your time and look at everything out there before you buy.
