Has Anyone heard anything or know of replacement mirrors for the FJ, these suck!!!! even with the dome added. So much is great about the FJ, then there is the mirrors, man they must of given the job for their design to the guy who fetches coffee.

I should have said search on fjcruiser mirrors. There is a long discussion on the multivex mirrors. I bought them and I think they are well worth the $69.00. I hope this helps.

What's wrong with the mirrors? I find them more than adequate.

Re: Mirror Mirror on the Truck....

I guess adequate rear view isn't enough for me. I've driven tractor trailer on and off for years, and those blind sopts scare the hell out of me.

Yeah, people who don't rely on mirrors don't understand the hazard here. I also drove 18-wheel trucks, and I know what I want to see in the mirror . The FJ has a blind spot you can hide a Lincoln Continental in, and I'm not exagerating even a little.

I added two convex spot mirrors to the outer upper corner of each side mirror, and the blind spot is gone. However, you have to remember to check the spots and not just the main mirror, and therein lies the danger.

Going to look into the Multivex mirrors.

Re: Mirror Mirror on the Truck....

The multivex mirrors appear to be a stick on replacement that goes over the oem version. Sort of like the passenger side mirrors that say "objects in this mirror are closer than they appear". Any of you who have them, is that what they are? How do you like them?
