Being able to quick charge 18v cordless tool batteries will be the main function for me. Have a couple of spike camps where this will be perfect. But I would like to find a small air compressor that would work. Dont think it will be easy to find. Seems like they draw alot on startup.

The "I" word is key to your camping experience. If you want the little woman to go camping with you so that your sentence read "If we're camping, why would we need electric," then maybe you will understand the need for electric.
