I swear that tree jumped out and bit me... (honest)...

Well I finally got to go off-roading today. We went to a place in Bryan, TX called BVORR. I took the FJ stock and had no problems, but some moron who cut a large branch off a tree decided to cut it about 24" up the branch instead of trimming it at the trunk, and I tagged my passenger door panel, (Oh well) here are the PICTURES

I will have some video up tomorrow night, the video will be here

he just started into a ditch and was not over far enough, it tettered really slow and just laid over, he didn't have any damage. It balanced for a minute, but not long enough for me to get the camecorder out, lol

Yikes!! That looks like it's going to be one VERY EXPENSIVE off-road adventure! Bummer!

There was no crease, so it will pull out easy, I'm not to worried about it

Ouch !! That's gotta suck. Just one of the chances we take when we take these buggies offroading. Nice pics.

Re: I swear that tree jumped out and bit me... (honest)...

Oldrifter, sorry to see your damage, try and think of it as a right of passage, it may help you feel better about it. Those trees are pesky for sure. I had one jump right out in front of me on the trail while riding my Yamaha Grizzly and flattened the crappy stock front bumper . Even ATVs don't come with bumpers worth a damn!

Popping the door pannel off is easy, a couple of the replacing front speaker threads have step by step directions. Good luck.

Nice pictures. If your door is not creased I would first try a toilet plunger on those dents.

Re: I swear that tree jumped out and bit me... (honest)...

here's a google earth placemarker, it shows the trails real good, but the place has some great terrian,

I didn't see a lot of rocks, but there was a lot of hills and trails in the woods
