Fuel for my FJ

Salesperson stated that the Fj definately needed premium fuel! Whats up with that?

Never use less than 94 Octane...NEVER!! Or, use the search function.

The FJ's ECU will adjust to any octane grade. But you need to run 91+ for the best HP, and some would argue fuel economy. Do a search on "premium fuel".

MANY, many threads already, and even I contributed to a couple of them....I have used all 3 octanes from 87 to 89 to 91, and all worked just fine. i got the best overall mileage with the 91 octane gas, though.
