What governs these prices in the part manual? This is ridiculous.

Battery cable - $268.73
Alternator - $567.70
Leather steering wheel - $842.27 (manatee leather?)

I know there's aftermarket, these aren't set prices, and these are just some extremes, but the entire floor panel only costs about $600. What are these guys smoking?

No idea, I've been wondering about prices on alot of things lately.
I was looking at housing prices in Houston vs here this morning. What a world of difference, Houston is the better bang for your buck.

how much battery cable is that for 268 bucks? i could use a better quality cable/wire and get a larger size for about 1/8th of that.

It must be filled with diamonds or something. I found it online for $203.74. What a bargain!

I've got one for you. Just bought a fully loaded BC FJ (All the TRD stuff - loaded to the max) and they mistakingly didn't order it with the Convenience package 2 and so no sub woofer. $60 difference between package 1 and package 2 and the only thing different is the sub. So now I need a sub and I'm thinking I should keep the truck stock so I go to the parts dept and ask how much for the sub. Get this - $1000!!!!!!!!!!!! What the heck is up with that?!?!?!?! It's like when you're in the hospital and you get the bill and the 2 Tylenols they gave you on Thursday were $40. I don't like it - I just don't like it!!!

So now I'm buying the sub from Wicked Cas, one of the sponsors of this forum. 2 JL Audio 10's in his awesome stealth cabinet and a JL Audio 250 watt amp. I'll show Toyota who's boss. :-)

You'll love this.... I broke the little light bezel on the passenger side mirror. You know that little round piece of cheap plastic, HAHAHAHA. Turns out you cant order that piece, you must buy THE ENTIRE MIRROR ASSEMBLY My local dealer wanted $183, Matt at TRD SOurce got it to me for $138.00. Any more mirror issues for me and those things are gone.
