Can't read the emblem on your truck; is that Del Norte County SO?

What part of Phoenix are you from?
It's Marin County SO, the first county North of the Golden Gate. I patrol all of the fire roads and hiking trails. Check out our website, the Toy truck is on there. I put Donohoe up front and Deaver springs in the rear with Bilsteins. Also Demello sliders and an ARB bumper with a Warn 8k winch. It goes anywhere I want it to.
Grew up in Glendale, area of 51st ave and Union Hills. It was a lot nicer back then, when I could walk out the back door with the shotgun and hunt rabbits and quail. It's changed a lot since then.

Re: Cops with FJ's

Retired Colonel with the MS PSC with 34 years of service. Motor Carrier Safety and Drug Interdiction.

I've been a Toyota man since 1980 and was in the market for a Tacoma or Tundra pick up, but I have a Mt. Cur squirrel dog named Zeke that will not ride in a dog box in the back of a pickup. He has always ridden in his dog box in the back of my old Toyota van. If I put him in the back of a pick up, he gets his feelings hurt and won't hunt.

While at the dealership looking at the pickups, I saw the FJ Cruiser and after a test drive, said that's it. Made the purchase and have been very happy ever since. So has Zeke! It does everything I need it too and then some.

Re: Cops with FJ's

Over 16 years on CPD. Worked Patrol, former FTO, Gang Analysis, Drug and Gang House Enforcement. Too many of those years on mids but would go right back to them if need be.

I got the FJ after the F150 caught another case of brain cramps. Needed to downsize and found the FJ to be a perfect fit.

Marin County . . . . I know it too well.

I grew up in Scottsdale (near 68th St & McDowell), and I remember running out to Scottsdale Rd. and McDonald to go plinking with the .22's. Yep, it sure has changed. Phoenix is turning into another Los Angeles.

68th street & McDowell, that was the other side of the valley. The only reason we ventured over in that area was to go to Pinnacle Peak Patio for a nice steak. and a show. We'll probably head back to N-AZ area after retirement.

ya know.. knowing pretty much an entire police department, and being a cops son.

I still have yet to see a police officer eating a donut and drinking coffee at the same time.. let alone eating a donut in uniform.

only on tv have i seen this phenomenon.
