Only one I've seen where a diesel was installed was a D4D from Diesel Toys or something like that. They charge around $25K for it. Anything can probably be made to fit if you have enough money to toss at it and someone willing to try and work out all of the bugs.
THat is the Hilux Diesel engine... THe Prado's I beleave in Certain countries were offered with the 1VD engine as well as the 4.0 gas, & the 1KD-FTV Engines
Given the Toyota all share the transmissions n transfers.. Im sure with a bit of planing you can fit about anything into a FJ. Your biggest issue will be all the electronic controllers n wiring involved for all the newer vehicles
That makes me wonder since when was there a 2005 or 2006 FJ.
