The Cree. It's the one that said 60x brighter and XLAMP. It's a lot brighter and a tighter beam than my 2D and 3D LED Maglights. Perfect size for the FJ's center console. I'll try to post a beam comparison shot between the Taskforce, both maglights and a 2 AA mini-maglight.
Great! I was afraid you might have picked up Luxeon. I love my light. It does sit in the center console as you have too.

I'm very happy with it too, especially the easy turn around on the lifetime warranty at any Lowes. That means as long as Lowes is in business, I'll have a good working flashlight. That little rattle is the only thing I'm not 100% happy with, but that was an easy fix to make it rock solid.
I did make the mistake of putting it in the nylon belt case and pushing it down in the center console too hard once. That triggered the switch in the base, and I didn't notice it until 8 hours later. It still had a decent beam, but not as strong as fresh batteries.
This quick size comparison snapshot shows my trusted Maglights, the older incandescents I've had for many years. And I still keep the 2D LED Maglite in my driver's side glovebox as a backup.
Hardly a scientific test, just a quick snapshot of all four flashlights aimed at a white wall nine feet away (the maglites are all focused to the tightest beam) Thanks Jesua for hosting this comparison shot without the FJ Cruiser logo

I picked one of these up last week and I think it is a great light for the money. I mounted the case to my driver side pillar handle with 2 black zip ties. It is out of the way but still very easy to get to when I need it.

Thanks Jeshua, done. And thanks Fjamming for this thread.
