Re: CATEGORIES OF FJ's: Examples & definitions (pics)

I think the Baja FJ's should say something about "Helmets required" or "Helmets recommended" to go with the picture.
Just a thought. Oh and nice write up Steve. I missed it when it first hit.

Re: CATEGORIES OF FJ's: Examples & definitions (pics)

For intimidating, how about Savvyav? Same scariness factor as the Raptor.

And BTW where's CO-jeff's?

Also - not quite sure I deserve an entire category. I would call mine Prerunner...!

Thanks Dragon for a great thread!

Yep, I was going to eventually merge yours into a Baja/Prerunner category.

I want to propose the addition of the "basically stock" category...

"Basically Stock"
A basically stock rig is stock in fundamental performance- and capability-related regards. These include stock suspension, stock tires or similar, and stock drivetrain. However, the vehicle is in some ways modified, perhaps including a limited amount of armor (i.e. sliders), addition of communication equipment such as CB, and the possibility of many other survival, recovery, aesthetic, navigation, etc upgrades.
Oooooh.....a category for me. I have no lift but some armor, stock size Nittos, and a CB But I pass for stock to most eyes
