CATEGORIES OF FJ's: Examples & definitions (pics)

We've had a number of members inquiring about the proper terminology used in describing the different categories of FJ's.

So, allow me to present this pictorial glossary, accompanied by some random members' examples.

NOTE: This really isn't a competition for the best FJ(s) in their respective categories. These are merely photographic samples that I happened to think best illustrated an example for each category.

"Stock"
(aka OEM / waiting for the UPS man)

Before and After (the Wifes FJ ) and http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...-blue-2x4.html

"Beyond Stock"
(aka semi-modded / waiting for another UPS delivery)

http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...odoo-blue.html and http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...-fj-build.html

"Modified"
(aka modded / trail-ready)

http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...un-fusion.html and http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...ild-taira.html

"Expedition"
(aka forwarded mail / photo on milk cartons)

http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...parts-com.html and http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...1-tcs-fjc.html

"Aggressive"
(aka maxed-out credit card(s) / one bad-a$$ soccer mom)

http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...other-gal.html and http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...-build-up.html

"Bling"
(aka mall cruiser / "cutie-pie")

(Sales vehicles at a Georgia dealership - no build threads)

"Pimped"
(aka nauseating / blasphemy)

(Internet photos - no build threads)

"Built"
(Don't even think about using the words "stock," "slightly modded," "bling" or "pimped" around these trucks!!!! )

http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...uiser-sas.html and http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...oject-sfa.html

"Baja / Pre-Runner"
(aka gritty underwear / bladder buster)

File photo on left and http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...l-frontal.html

"Intimidating"
(aka "Up periscope!!" / "Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of men . . . ??")

http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...ors-build.html and the mir207 machine
