Re: Vendor Warning: Beadlock Specialties

I finally did get the money back. I did have to pay shipping a couple of times though. It took over 3 months . It wasn't a good situation. They return the money after being pressured from 5 different forums. It was clear to see how they were not honest. It's interesting to see that despite how clearly things are stated, there are those that will play devil's advocate and come up with the seemingly impossible scenario that I'm the one in the wrong...

Re: Vendor Warning: Beadlock Specialties

For a while when I read what was written on Pirate, I thought maybe I'm at fault. That herd had me doubting myself. Eventually I had some encouragement and I was just angry. Some one has been welding too long and can't read what I wrote I guess.

Josh, I'm trying to decide what I want to do next. Juggling between the roof rack project, crawler box, beadlocks, and plastic tray development. I'm kind of swamped and confused. Would be great if I can do it all in one shot, but everything costs money-even those things that I'm developing myself. Maybe I should just leave it alone and be happy with what I have now. The rack will give me the satisfaction of making something new and customized. The beadlocks are probably (have not lost a bead yet, but the fear is there when I'm running below teens) necessary for the tires I run.

Confused. :???:

Re: Vendor Warning: Beadlock Specialties

Are you still running around 12 on the trails??? I ran mine at 15 and got some small rocks lodged between the tire and the rim on one wheel.

And they still don't flex at 15 when sitting on level ground.

Thanks. I believe in giving everyone a fair chance to correct things.

I run 12 psi now. It's amazing that what 3 psi can do. It flex more and feels better. I'll try 10 psi next time out. I don't go fast and really conservative with the throttle so I'm hopeful that I won't have any bead issues. I have to say though, airing down so much makes me go through the CO2 tank very very quickly!
