Thumbs down Jeg's speed....Parts and accessories

Jeg's advertises "FREE SHIPPING" So I went through the whole prosess of ordering 3 quarts of royal purple gear oil, credit card info etc. and then at check out it says. "$11.99 HANDLING"
AND $2.25 AREA SERVICE CHARGE
That equals $14.24 of "FREE SHIPPING" ....
I found it at "Americanmuscle.com" for $10.99 per quart with "FREE SHIPPING" .....

I called them and they said it was processing and handling fees. There was NO mention of HAZMAT fees.

Re: Jeg's speed....Parts and accessories

They've always done that, it doesn't matter what you order; that's why I won't order from them. IIRC Summit Racing does the same thing. They need to look at their competition and come in line.

Re: Jeg's speed....Parts and accessories

This is exactly the reason why I fill all the fields in with crap data, so I can finally see the final total is. And if they don't show the final total before CC info is requested, then I know it is bull.
