Tar on paint

They just repaved a couple roads that I drive on while going to work. Now, I have several dozen small tar spheres primarily on the front of the FJ. I can get them off with my fingernail and some water. Is there an easier way that will not scratch the paint?

Re: Tar on paint

Sounds like a bummer. But have no fear, there are several products in local stores that will take care of it. Look them over, make a choice and rub it off. It won't be the first time you encounter this unfortunate circumstance. Good luck.
