roof rack noise

Installed Gobi stealth roof rack with fairing and the noise is crazy. Great product and waiting to hear from Gobi with a fix. Anyone else had a problem with this rack? Would appreciate knowing your fix. Father-in-law(retired) was a top aerodynamisist. Going to get his opinion on a fix.

Get some lights on the front! It's probably the only solution unless you make another fairing to cover up the the wrungs in the rack. Or...put in insulmat in the headliner!
There are tons of solutions out there as far as lights go. Just measure the size between the bars and fill the void with lights. You could probably find some at a major pepboys/checker/etc. You could put them on and ziptie the wiring until you get time to wire it. (There are threads on all of these things)
Noise goes down considerably! I promise!

Thanks for the feedback on the roof rack noise. I have four PIAA lights to go between the front rails. I’ll install them and see if it helps. I rubber mounted the rack to the roof and no help. My father-in-law is a retired top aerodynamicist. I’ll get him a few beers and see if he has any ideas. Your fix sounds good. I wonder if the grating on my Gobi rack is causing a problem. What if a cover the rack floor with aluminum diamond plate? Sorry to bother you but do you have any great help on how I should wire my six lights? Thanks. Do I need dual batteries for six roof rack lights?
