I was told by two reliable sources that DR was going out of business due to financial difficulties. I was at DR the week before the holidays and there was no one working on the production line.

I agree. A company as widely known as DR would have to go through much more than that to have to shut their doors.

It's hard to believe any of that though until something has been confirmed. Like they said in the other forums, the name is spelled wrong. I know typos happen, but on something as serious as that?

If I were them I would reorganize, buy the assets, and get going again.

Bad form to bring the Desert Rangers thread over here(not the most informed people over there) especially since you are a competitor. I would wait to see what happens and if any of the DR employees that are on this board post up to conform or deny any of this I will scan through some other sites to see is I can find any info from more credible sources.
