Cruiser Solutions in NH

Hi all,
Can I get some feedback on this company? Cruiser Solutions in New Hampshire. Purchased an OME lift kit on Feb 6th and have not received yet. Called, and they said it was being shipped from ARB. Called again, and they said it was shipping soon. Now, there is no answer at their facility. I called ARB and they said that Cruiser Solutions placed the order but no advanced payment was made yet. Left voicemails, emails etc. No answer. Getting a bit worried. My credit card was charged back on Feb 6th....2 1/2 weeks later and still have nothing. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've never bought anything through them, but they are a well respected shop in new england. I've never heard of people having an issue with them. I know that doesnt help you much, but at least theyre not some upstart company.

check the ih8mud forums, theyre a big supplier of landcruiser parts.

Thanks for your input RTRAC1. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and with my MasterCard company. We'll see what happens.

Re: Cruiser Solutions in NH

I realize that there really isn't much feedback in this thread but for records sake, I'll give an update. It's been 3 1/2 weeks now and have not heard anything back from Cruiser Solutions. I've got the Better Business Bureau involved, MasterCard has my payment in dispute and I've had someone in NH actually go to the facility and the owner's (Tedd Brown) home. Nobody was around. I've left a voicemail on his home phone, business phone and emailed them. Still no results. During this whole time since they originally told me it would ship that next week, I've only was able to talk to one person, the mechanic. He told me he would contact the owner about the situation. Well, it's been at least a week since then. Getting real frustrated here since there's $700 on the line. I'm hoping that Tedd has been on a 3 week vacation and his colleagues are delinquent employees. At least there would be a reason. But I'm afraid there's probably more to it than that. I'll keep this updated for posterity's sake.

Re: Cruiser Solutions in NH

I know these guys personally and they are good guys with a good reputation. They have hosted the Trail Team twice. I wouldn't worry. Tedd could be on vacation as the NH school vacation was last week.

I finally received a call from Tedd this morning. He said he apologized for the delay as there were some policy changes at ARB. He said he would take care of it asap. He also mentioned that he was away for the past week. What really struck me is that he didn't offer any consolation in the form of expedited delivery. From a business point of view, I would expect an small effot to make amends. Furthermore, he was unwilling to explain why nobody answers the phone. I told him that I was posting this on the forum and I wanted to conclude with a good note, but again he would not explain. I don't understand how his business operates in that fashion. I'm sitting here in Milwaukee and have virtually no recourse and yet he didn't seem to care. It's simple courtesy to make things better. I do it everyday with my job and sometimes you just have to bite your tongue, drop the pride and do whatever is reasonable to resolve issues with your customers. They may have a good reputation with others but I guess it's just my luck that this happened to me. Well, I just want my lift kit delivered and I'll go on my way.

Re: Cruiser Solutions in NH

Update: Tedd Brown has investigated the expediting the lift kit but of course, the cost is quite prohibitive. WellsFargo MasterCard really screwed up and took action when I specifically told them not to do anything until I could work this out with Cruiser Solutions on my own. So, now Tedd is stuck with a processing fee, not much $ but it's the whole principle of the matter. ARB apparently put all distributors on credit hold and requires prepayment due to losses from the weakening dollar. I don't quite understand this but that's why the order didn't go through. It doesn't negate the fact that Cruiser Solutions took 4 weeks to actually do anything about it but Tedd is taking care of the situation and will be providing the tracking number shortly. I hate having to do this but when it involves this kind of money, one has to watch out for themselves. There's alot of internet fraud the way it is and I've been stuck before. Tedd seems like a super guy and I don't want to give him and his company a bad rap. I think the issue is resolved and hopefully, if need be, I will do business with them again in the future.

Re: Cruiser Solutions in NH

I got mine from Jacques at TOD (Toyo of Dallas). Great service, great setup. Sorry you are having these problems. On the bright side, the OME stuff is AWESOME!! It is worth the trouble.

Yeah, I had an OME kit on my 99 Jeep TJ. Performed very well. Thanks for the input.

I'm still waiting for the tracking number from Cruiser Solutions. God! this is ridiculous. You know, there's a certain amount of patience I have. There's also a certain amount of bs I will absorb from vendors. I'm reaching the end. You'd think I would have gotten the tracking number that same day. It's been two days now. So the question is, "has it even shipped yet?" I swear, I would never treat my customers like this. And believe me, I am very cordial and straightforward with Tedd. I'm not being an ass. Well, the saga continues even after 28 days.

Re: Cruiser Solutions in NH

Screw it! I called ARB USA and got the tracking number myself. Due to arrive this Friday. Good God! I'm actually gonna get my lift kit. Now I need to find an installer as I don't have a garage anymore I'll send the pics when it's installed with my new tires and rims. I'm so freaking excited!!!

As for Cruiser Solutions? I gave them a chance....more than most people would, and they blew it. Sorry to all you faithful Cruiser Solution patrons. I have to look out for number one.
