Re: New FJC = Better Health
I swear this is true. I was about 5'9 and 235lbs when I got my FJ in september. I got on the scale this morning..... 169.7lbs. Not bad. I can't say it is ALL due to the FJ. I got hurt really bad in a snowboarding and then a Mtn. biking accident in 2000. Eight years of chronic pain and huge doses of opiate painkillers (Oxycontin, MS Contin, Oxyfast (Pure liquid oxycodone), Dilaudid and Methadone) left me an unrecognizable shell of my former self. I'm now on a new experimental painkiller with no intoxicating effects and zero side effects and I'm basically pain free. So I'm back to doing the things I liked to do and the FJ has certainly been a huge part of that. Not only do I park way the hell out in BFE so no jackass opens their car door into my rig, but I also hike, bike, explore the woods, walk my dogs..... the list goes on. Its sounds silly, but this rig has changed my life in some big ways. I'm currently looking into trade schools for welding and fabrication. In a few years maybe I'll be making the next sweet product that we all need for our babies. So yea, I'm in better health due in part to my FJ.
