Gold Fields, Big Bear

went up wheeling this morning snooping around the east side of Big Bear
stopped at this stream

about 10 flakes in this pan, somehow the camera does not let them sparkle

checked out this mine

went up this road

to this arrestre site

and found about 4 chunks of low grade ore, all in all had a great day

the wrangler is my main offroad weapon, well you have seen it, and can understand why, I mean with that kind of money in it.
I get to take out the FJ whenever I am a good boy, seems I have scratched and dented it sofar and she had to have work on it.
so untill I get new tires (next week) and build some rockrails and a few extra plates (next month) I am relegated back into my wrangler. I.E. eating dust.

I'm in Yucaipa -- should be getting my FJ this week I hope (placed the order, just waiting for it to arrive) -- let me know if you guys go out!

It's going to be a struggle now deciding what club to do events with -- I have a MINI Cooper also and involved in the MINI clubs and there seems to be an even every other week or so.

Offroading or Twisties. hmmmmmm....
