The FJ Is SOOOOO Cute But My Hubby Wants a Rav4 :(

I think the FJ is just adorable but unfortunately my husband gets to pick our new car since we are getting rid of his old clunker. I have my Mini Cooper but we need something a little bigger and with better traction for our second car.

The FJ is so cute but my husband just doesn't like it. He says it's too cramped for him and he can't see around very well when he's driving. Plus he thinks it looks like a cartoon character. I don't mind the Rav4 but I really really want the FJ. I think its even cuter than my Mini.

If the FJ was out when I got my Mini, I would have got the FJ instead

Anyway I need help to convince my husband to buy the FJ instead of the Rav4.

If you can convince my wife to let me get the FJ instead of a Forester or CRV...I'll do my best to convince your hubby.

The poor gas mileage of the FJ is a real sticking point that she is having a hard time getting past!

LOL... cramped? still every time i get in after driving another car or truck i am in awe of how much room there is in the FJ. The rav4 can probably fit inside the FJ.

Good luck with convincing your husband.. The FJ definitely Rocks!

Get him to test drive it. Find some forum members in the area and maybe go for a ride-off road!

Lets start with it aint cute woman, lol Using that word should be a bannable offense, lol

The traction control features of the FJ are far better than the RAV4.

Too cramped??? Did he adjust the drivers seat at all? It has way more interior room the RAV4.

The blind spots just take a lil getting used to. I have yet to drive a vhicle that did'nt have blind spots of some sort. Once you get the mirrors adjusted right it's all good. You just have to actively drive this vehicle.

Tell your husband to man up and grow an effing sack!!!! Seiously, a rav4? Does he need something to drive to the mall in? At least tint the windows black so you don't have to be seen in it.

too cramped? I am 6'4 280lb and I am in love with, not only the amount of room, but how comfortable it is to drive. Adjust the mirrors as they are supposed to be(not so u can see the side of your vehicle in half the mirror) and the blind spot it as small if not smaller than in any other auto. I thought nothing would ever replace my old chevy, I am madly in love with this vehicle. Just let your hubby read some testimonies on this web site, and the FJ will be yours. Oh and I also have an 18 month daughter, and getting her in and out of her car seat(its in the center) is easy for me and my wife of 5'6" stature. Damn the nay sayers. Viva la FJ!
