New Annoying Pop Up on Site
OK, for what it's worth - the site has recently added some sort of pop up, and my PC popup blocker reloads and blocks it on every screen.
It says that the site "May require the following ActiveX control: "Flash Player 8" from Macromedia, Inc." Click here to install."
Mods: any way to disable this note? Very annoying, and the info bar says it's a security risk, and not to enable it unless absolutely necessary....
Help?!

I think the site uses Flash to display it's banner ads.

Yeah, I figure it had to do with the new TRD ad, since the older ads haven't been an issue before.
Whatever, it's ANNOYING. If they can load the ad with the older version of Flash, I'd be happier.

I don't have that kind of power...but I'll pass the info on to site admin.

I like how the advertising banner covers up the search box.

This is safe. You may "click there to install". It won't bite.

Re: New Annoying Pop Up on Site
I use Firefox and I get the pop up that covers the search box. It's a pain in the arse cuz you can't X out of it.
