Pics of painted roof and lift

Ok, they're virtual mods, and not perfect by any means, but good enough to get the idea of the look. There was another thread going on the painted roof but it was getting looong.

Stock.

Lifted.

Lifted with yellow roof.

Black line separating roof from c-pillar, so they won't have to try to blend the line where the new paint meets the factory paint. It also keeps it from looking too monochromatic. I like the look, I just don't know if I want to paint on my new truck. But I'm definitely doing the lift. I'm liking the Revtek, 3" front, 2" rear.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAN..........STEP AWAY FROM THE PAINT BOOTH!!

You have been trusted with a magnificent machine and a breakthru in design and aesthetics.

#1. I seriously doubt the colors will EVER match
#2. White reflects the heat
#3. The white roof is unique in a world of look alike vehicles
#4. The white roof is a nod to it's sterling heritage
#5. Get a lawn jockey, dye your hair two-tone, speak in phony accent, do any of these things if you just gotta "be different". But don't mess with a masterpiece!
#6. Sell the FJC to a purist who won't "kack it up", then have fun painting one of those Hummer thingies chicks drive.
#7. I know I have a strong opinion about this...you can always put me on your ignore list.

Re: Pics of painted roof and lift

Who cares if he paints his roof to match or rainbow colors! It's not blasphemy, it's a truck for FJ's sake!

You pay for it you do what you want to it. If they all look the same they all look the same and what good is that?!

Re: Pics of painted roof and lift

I like all of the expressions in post #4 (except for the 7th one ) but it is your truck to do with as you will. That's why freedom is so cool!!
