Side View Mirror

So this past weekend I knocked the glass out of my passenger side, side view mirror. Everything else is intact the glass is just missing. I already called my dealer and they would have to replace the whole side view mirror for like $220 without labor, tax, or anything else.

Does anyone know a place where I can get just the glass for the mirror?

Thanks.

Go to a glass shop and have them cut one for you. As long as the plastic frame is intact, it should work.

Re: Side View Mirror

It almost looks like the pieces of glass have a plastic piece attached to them so they can just clip on to the inside of the side view mirror... Not sure if that is the case.

Re: Side View Mirror

Since everything is intact you can just order the mirror. Just looked at 1sttoyotaparts.com and it's selling for $26.63. Look around, you may find it cheaper somewhere else.

Re: Side View Mirror

Or you can find a used one on here or ebay, I just bought one whole assembly for 50 bucks from a forum member. its only a plug and 3 bolts to change it out. I have the mirror glass from the drivers side intact but the plastic ring clip in back is broken, if your clip is still good I can sell ya the glass for 15 bucks plus shipping. PM me if interested.

Re: Side View Mirror

Take this opportunity to get the multivex mirrors instead. We love ours. We put it on over the existing mirrors but I know there are others that removed the old mirror and replaced them with the multivexs for a cleaner look.

Follow the yellow brick.
Multivex mirrors, BudBuilt skid, Bandi mount, Midland CB, Firestick, Baja Rack, SAW full suspension, MB 72 black rims, Duratrac p285's, body mount chop, on engine number 2. But it's gone now... So I just hang around

Everything I post is for entertainment purposes only. Any comments about anything political is not intended to be.
