Original FJ40 colors and codes

In case members were curious, here is a list of some original colors Toyota offered on the FJ40 between 1960-1983. These were the years the bulletproof FJ40 was imported into America. Why Toyota is not offering most of these awesome classic Land Cruiser colors on the new FJ Cruiser is a mystery to me.

Freeborn Red - Color Code T-309
Horizon Blue - Color Code 808
Smurf Blue
Royal Blue
Mustard Yellow
Olive Brown - Color Code 653
Forest Green
Dune Beige - Color Code 416
Sahara Tan
Alpine White
Mint Green

Mint green FJ40

Dune beige FJ40. One of my favorite FJ colors
