Huh? I do hope you're kidding. Otherwise, you are only giving ammunition to the anti-gun crowd who view all gun owners as whack-jobs. Yes, anybody who would carry just to intimidate a presumably law-abiding business is a whack-job and exactly the kind of moron who shouldn't be allowed to carry. Sorry for the hijack, but this comment without any obvious indication that it's a joke deserves addressing.
I always expect everyone to use good judgement, but unfortunately I am often disappointed, even in myself.

We all feel your frustration and wish we could. The solution seems so easy, yet so far away.
You said you live in a small town, and that a local bought it. Keep a sharp eye out for it and consider leaving a note on the windshield or door perhaps offering a reward. I live in a small town as well and most all folks here are decent folks and love to help each other out.

I got my letter back thanks to all you guys/gals!!!! All of your suggestions and PM's were great....even the DMV and carfax... Wink Wink!!!! I found out that the vehicle was in Kimball Nebraska. It was traded to another dealerhip from Cheyenne. I called the local dealerships and sent the service managers a pic and vin of the vehicle. Most of them were happy to help only after they ran. The info in the toyota service database (still a little confused on that one). Well looo and behold, I got a call from the service manager who... discretely looked in my special hiding place and there it was He called me I gave him my address... I am SOOOOOOOOOO Happy!!!!

That's great, I'm glad you got it back.. It's ironic that the dealer and probably every other dealer has all the information regarding you, your truck and the the person that buys it.. but won't give you any information. I had a similar experience with my employer/based life insurance. I call them from my work listed phone and ask about a beneficiary. They won't tell me, but ask me who I think it is and then they tell me right or wrong. I ask them to please send me the information and then say no, my request to change it is all I need. Point is.. Information.. they have it and we don't.. LOL.. Ron
