Off Road Lights

Anyone added offroad running lights to the factory roof rack? If so where or how did you mount the light bar?

Re: Off Road Lights

I mounted the KC's back in late March when I FIRST got my FJC.

Search for my username and you will find lots of information about the install.
Basically I mounted the lights on one of the rack bars itself, and ran all the wiring through the roofrack bars, into the cab. ect, (quite a few drilled holes, and lots and lots of work with extended coat hangers ect)

Pain in the butt, but well worth it IMO. They are KC Daylighters, and are VERY bright.

Thumbs up Re: Off Road Lights

Very nice install...as an installer, I can appreciate the time and energy it took to fish all the wiring through...looks great on and off.

Re: Off Road Lights

Anyone put off road lights on the Gobi ranger rack? Any drilling holes in the roof or is there another way?
