Steve,
Not sure if this is a TSB or not but I do know A LOT of questions have been asked about the premium fuel requirement

Are TSB's covered by warranty?

Simply put YES! By having a TSB i.e for the brakes you can go just about until your pads are gone, go complain that the brakes squeak and get a full brake job for free is one way to look at it I guess.

Re: TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS (TSB's): For the FJ Cruiser

I just noticed the "Inside door handke creak" bullitin. Does anyone have any more info on it? My drivers handle sounds like it's sticking when you pull on it to open the door. It doesn't happen all of the time but it's pretty regular, especially after the truck has been sitting for a while.
I guess I'm off to search the net and place a call to the dealer after the holiday weekend.

I'll check tonight and see if I still have the info on that TSB. I have a friend who has access to all of that and he printed it out for me.

I'm taking my FJ in for the brake issue and mentioned the interior door handle squeak on the passenger side. They looked it up and said they would have the parts here by my appointment time on Saturday.

Make sure you get a TSB # so we can make it official.

The TSB number has already been added to your list, I just wanted to see if there was any other info that would help out.

The TSB # is NV001-07. The labor time is only .3, which is 18 min so it doesn't seem difficult.

I have a print out, but I don't have a way to scan it so everyone can see.

Production Change Effective VIN, 2007 Year Model
JTEZU11F870007157

JTEBU11F670043365

That is the only info as to which vehicles would be included on this TSB.

Hope that helps!

Steve, thanks for putting this list together.

Re: TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS (TSB's): For the FJ Cruiser

The dealership took care of my squeaking brakes and door handle today. Initially I told them that just the passenger door handle was making noise, but they replaced both handles just in case.

They replaced the front brakes, both door handles and changed the oil in about 2 hours.

Here you go...now if only someone had the TSB on brakes squealing in reverse I'd feel much better about having to go back to the dealer after 2 years...I'll go back for some free brakes though!
