Door Seals and Wet Feet

For those of you who spend all your time here and don't catch the news, the DC area is having some SERIOUS flooding, including 10 inches of rain yesterday, and it is still raining. Anyway, I forded a puddle/pond/stream that used to be a road, and the water was up over the door sill. I knew I was making waves in this lake, but I didn't realize how deep it was until water started coming in and covering my feet. However, my FJ was a champ. She made it through with flying colors, but I'm glad the interior is rubberized. Sorry no one was taking pictures of me, though there were several jealous drivers that would have liked to have crossed to get home. I don't know about leaking from the top, but I can tell you water does get in from underneath.

Re: Door Seals and Wet Feet

Given earlier posts that the side curtain air bag sensors are on the floor that would be a problem. Anyone else report door leaks on water crossings?
