Parts Availability

My brand new FJ was broken into over the last weekend in Houston Texas. She took some body damage around the door lock and lost the passenger side window. The dash is punctured and broken right in front of the compass pod and the color keyed trim around the stereo is damaged. Luckilly the new Alpine media center survived due to custom install due to no kit being availabe as of yet. I live in South Mississippi and my dealer says that parts to get me up and running again are on indefinite back order. I really just need the window to get her back on the road, but I am not having any luck. If any fellow board members can help me locate a passnger side window, I would be most appreciative. I was a little dissapointed that no one reported the VIP alarm sounding. She was parked five spaces from the door at a Marriot hotel and no one heard a thing. I am definetely going the aftermarket alarm route when she comes home.

I can get the window...
It shows 13 in the Ontario California National Parts Distribution Center.

Re: Parts Availability

Thanks for the offer Matt. I'm at week 3 without my FJ due to no passenger side window. I've tried to call, but the number posted gives me an invalid number message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The number posted is part number not phone number.

Re: Parts Availability

That's 2 Houston area FJ's broken into the last couple weeks. They just hit mine in a parking lot off I-10 (west side). Drivers side window destroyed (Glass everywhere inside) and screwdriver damage to the window frame. All they got was a digital camera (hidden behind backseat) but man I'm pissed about the damage to the FJ. Sounds like I might have a hard time finding parts so I could use ya'lls advice. Will need a new drivers side window and replacement for the window strip on the drivers side door (near the rear door). I will let you know how things go tomorrow when I start looking for parts.
