Re: 150 FORUM BADGE ORDERS SHIPPED-180 Badges

The neat thing about this project is that the original post was started only two months ago. Some people got their badges nearly two months to the day, from when the original idea was even posted. Here's a link to the original post:

How about an FJ Cruiser forums Badge?

That really shows how you creative guys can take an idea and run with it.

I know its been said (more than once) but thanks again Pete for ALL of your hard work. Without you taking the ball and running with it, we'd still be taking polls on the length of the posts.

A Job Well Done!

Re: 150 FORUM BADGE ORDERS SHIPPED-180 Badges

Just got my 2. I was surprised since I ordered my 2nd 1 later (Apparently #16 & #245).

Now that I have it, it can't go on stock. I think I'll BLACK IT OUT!! JK

And THANKS to everyone from the designers, to ScubaSteve for the Idea, and anyone else who helped make this all happen, and last but not least to Slither for for all the hard work.

But you didn't drill through the badge, did you? The head of the screw would be on the outside of the badget. Or, did you have a tap for that thread pitch and have the head of the screw facing the engine bay?

I think you just have to reverse the toggle. I'm guessing the one he used has matching threads. You could just cut off any excess threads if your bolt was too long.

Edit: In fact you could probably just use the toggle with the mounting hardware that come with the badge.
I just used the toggle. I used the nuts and bolts that came with the badge.

Re: 150 FORUM BADGE ORDERS SHIPPED-180 Badges

Hi Slither,
Are the badges coming through regular post office mail? Just wondering, I'm seeing many brothers receiving theirs so I'm starting to get nervous. can you tell me what batch my badge went out with?

Thanks buddy, and again thank you for all you did.

Re: 150 FORUM BADGE ORDERS SHIPPED-180 Badges

Got it! The threads on mine are messed up. They are missing on one side on both posts. I think I can fix it though.
