Technically, I for you I wouldn't consider it a mod since you have it on your mantle. Now if you mount it on your FJ, then maybe...but the mantle is out of the question. Put that thing on your truck man!!

Got mine yesterday, very nice work. However I have a question. How do you mount the thing? Do I need to get some large washers and mount it like a compression setting, drill through some plastic? Please offer some advice.

I have it displayed on the fireplace mantel next to the family photo. My wife thinks I am completely nuts. It might just stay here and continue to get polished. The threaded posts make a nice prop-stand.

got mine friday as well thanks slither, i ran to lowes and bought some bolts and fender washers and it went on easily and looks great!!
