People complain because they are used to those big ass windows on an F150 where you can see EVERYTHING..
The only time I've ever had a problem was when someone was sitting in the back seat and there was a small car on the RR side.. just speed up and wait to see in your mirror if theres anything there
yep....adjust your mirrors correctly....adjust your inside mirror right.....and no worse than any other truck with a shell on back, SUV or even honda element.
my drivers side I adjust so I can see just barely the rear most corner of my vehicle at tailight...like an inch or two max.
my passenger side..i go to where i can barely see the same spot on that side...then I bump it out until I cant see my own vehicle unless I lean forward a couple inches...I am much more worried about who is coming up beside me than whether my passenger brake light is working.
for the interior rear view....I set it so the image is centered UP and DOWN in mirror and slightly to passenger side.
Plenty of visibility with this setup....and learning not to take anything for granted when scanning for traffic or obstacles. If I cant see it in my mirrors or hear it in my rear parking sensors...then I get out and check it myself...on trail or off trail....they are tools and a spotter is worth thousands of dollars in damage if you guess wrong.
