About 5 minutes ago, on my way home, I'm driving through a NYC intersection with my window open, and I hear:
"Hey, it's a skunk."
Now I was driving through, and didn't see who said it, or am I 100% sure he was even talking about my truck, but if he was, that's one hell of a creative comment.
P.S. My FJ is black with a white top, so I guess it looks like a skunk.
i havent heard any insults because i dont talk to anybody.
however. when i decided i was in the market for an SUV i couldnt see myself in anything but the FJ. its one of the only vehicles on the road that has any character. ive come from mainly a volkswagen background which has always (until more recently) been a niche type brand, with mostly goofy looking vehicles with tons of character. i feel like the transition fron dub to fj was seemless. the FJ community seems to be very similar to the dub community as well.
At a gas station one day a guy in a lexus suv looks at me and says what is that a hummer, refering to my car, i tell him no its a Toyota FJ cruiser. His wife then looks out and says "Oh hunny thats a cute car, you should get me that."
I didnt know FJs were "cute"
