Insults to your FJ

I've only had mine a few months and so far I have gotten:

1. I was telling a co-worker that I got an FJ Cruiser as my new ride. He says, "Is that the one that...?" and starts describing the PT Cruiser

2. I was at a U-Haul yard and the guy who worked there asked me as we were hooking up a trailer to the FJ: "What makes someone buy a vehicle like this? Is it like an SUV? Family friendly?"

I just told him that it was because of its awesomeness.

Anyway, what kind of stuff have you heard? Fortunately, I've gotten a lot more compliments than insults...

stock fjs don't look that great to me either, but with a little work and loving, they can look like awesome rigs!

Most who make comments are the same folks driving around in Camry's, Accords, or any other form of basic transportation. Just not enthusiests. I belong to and participate in more enthusiast clubs and most that are into driving seem to like the FJ. It may be quirky to some, but overall it seems to be appreciated for what it is.
To the common "just get from here to there" crowd, they just don't understand. I prefer not to go through life -->dull<--. There's too much to do!

I have had both compliments as complaints. But what it all boils down to is that I still look forward to drive to work every morning in it.
And it is a piece of cake to pick out in a parking lot...
