can I buy the Multi-Info Display (Compass, Temperature, Inclinometer) on dashboard?

i'm wondering if i can purchase seperately the Multi-Info Display (Compass, Temperature, Inclinometer) that sits on the middle of the dashboard? any one have the info?

i've heard from my dealership that Toyota does not sell this by itself. is this true?...

Probably not true. All parts of a vehicle need to be available as replacements. That being said, it may come connected to some other stuff you may not want / need. Whether the vehicle comes pre wired for this piece is another question to research.

You may need to buy a new dashboard too because it requires aprox 3 X 5 inch cut-out then you have to run a cable to the outside for the temp sensor. If I were you I would not bother...If you add the cost together, you might as well spent on a decent in dash NAV units that has these features. I think Pioneer has those...

There were two users (Moabrat and Cornercanyon, I think) on here that did a dashboard swap because one wanted the cluster and one didn't. Sounds to me like it's part of the dashboard.

As far as I know yes...and a few more extras not sure what else it can show...
